This photograph was taken on a moody evening at Muriwai Beach (some 17km's West of Kumeu). This beach can become a hive of activity, especially in the Summer months. Fishing competitions are popular, walkers love the tracks and holiday makers flock here when the weather is good ! I liked the colour of the sky on this particular evening, so to capture this I waited till the sun was hidden behind the rock you see before you.
