While staying in Dublin at the Marriott Hotel in Tallaght, I took an early morning walk across the road to a local park. Dublin is great for green space ! Anyway, I spotted this heron in a nearby lake and managed to get close enough to take a half decent shot. It's always nice to stumble across wildlife you don't expect to see in a big city !

Heron At Tallaght, Dublin
While staying in Dublin at the Marriott Hotel in Tallaght, I took an early morning walk across the road to a local park. Dublin is great for green space ! Anyway, I spotted this heron in a nearby lake and managed to get close enough to take a half decent shot. It's always nice to stumble across wildlife you don't expect to see in a big city !
